It has been a rough few weeks globally for both travellers and the travel industry. We are here to share Covid-19 information and to let you know that Unforgettable Escapes will ALWAYS have our clients’ best interests at heart. If a client is asking about an area that we would not travel to ourselves, we will be upfront and honest about that fact.
As travel designers, we are constantly dealing with worldwide issues: whether it be illness, like the current Covid-19 pandemic, violence, political unrest, aircraft issues, and cruise catastrophes. Most of these issues have ALWAYS been a threat, however with the worldwide web and social media, we are now all much more aware of them.
ALL of these issues will eventually pass. We like to remind our clients to always consider THEIR personal circumstances when planning a trip. If you have any underlying health conditions that could put you in the high-risk category, ALWAYS check with your family doctor before traveling to an area that may put you at further unnecessary risk.
We are travel designers we are not doctors, insurance brokers or psychics. Only YOU know what you are comfortable with and we will never advise you otherwise. Having said that, we also urge everyone to be sure that they are getting their facts from
reputable sources – your travel.gc.ca Government website should be your first stop.
For health-related issues, the WHO (World Health Organization) will always offer unbiased, up-to-date information and advice. We will continue to monitor the travel advisories, take common-sense precautions and rely on our travel insurance for those unexpected issues that may arise anytime you are traveling.
